The Mystic Order of Veiled Prophets of the Enchanted Realm, better known as the Grotto, is an organization open to members of the Masonic Fraternity. Often referred to as the “playground of Freemasonry,” the Grotto provides a social element to its members, with sympathy and good fellowship being the key tenets of the organization.
The Pennsylvania Grotto Association was formed in 1974 to bring together the Grottoes operating in the Commonwealth. It was designed to allow them to share ideas as well as fellowship. Continuing it’s mission into the next century, the PGA still strives to aid and assist the Grottoes in Pennsylvania through increased programming and communications.
The PA Grotto Association is currently composed of nine Grottoes:
Any Grotto operating in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is eligible for membership in the Association. Grottoes outside of the Commonwealth may also apply for membership, provided they meet the provisions set forth in the by-laws.
